One of my favourite things we do here in momstown Hamilton is our Baby Picassos sessions. This is a fun and exciting way to connect new moms in Hamilton, help them make new friends and teach them that babies can make art!
Step 1 is to get all your baby friends together for a painting party. Everything is more fun when you have friends around right?
Step 2, and this is very important, get everything you need organized and placed on the table ahead of time! Paper, paint, brushes... and especially Huggies Baby Wipes for clean up! Trust me, while babies are making art they love to get messy :)
Step 3 - paint their tootsies. We have found this technique to be far more effective than stepping the toes in the paint. While setting the foot right in the paint is a fabulous sensory exercise, it doesn't give you optimal control when making beautiful footprint art.
Step 4 - clean up your little munchkin while their art dries. Make sure you get those Huggies Baby Wipes in between all the wee little piggies.
Step 5 - Mom can add the finishing touches!
